Shaky High Road

Can a pastor say, "I'm sorry, if you are a friend of hers then you are no friend of mine."

Hey - pastors are people, too. Sometimes you have to do certain things to take care of yourself. Sometimes it isn't high road versus low road. It's just the way things are. Good luck with this.

Hmm...I'd take a middle road. Is the person in the conversation a member of your parish? If so, maybe. If not, yes.

I'd have said so....

You might just say there's a conflict of interests... but then, that's not nearly as satisfying is it?

I don't know about pastors.

But a wife or a sister or a daughter or a mom certainly can.

Pick one of those.

Thanks all. 24 hours have helped me calm down a bit. After a restful time away I just forgot how 'IN MY FACE' everything is back here.
