Just a Couple More Things

First - Domestic Goddess is coming today. Actually, she is already here. Dog, child and I are all in my office already because I didn't want to get in her way. This is a first for me and I am just so excited. Now if I could just afford someone to go to the grocery store for me...

Second - TDH and I have our first counseling appointment today... together. I am thankful that finally we are taking this step forward and pulling ourselves out of the free fall we were/are in. But part of me is very anxious as I feel like this is either the start of our new beginning... or the beginning of the end.

Not that I have loaded it with unrealistic and heavy expectations or anything.

(ummm, do I need to clarify that is not us in the picture?)

prayers-prayers-prayers!

Sometimes, just getting out of freefall, even if toward some seemingly undesired end, is, in the end, the greatest gift.

Holding you in the Light...

WS...only you could have come up with that caption with so much else going on for you. It's one of the reasons we're so fond of you....
Hooray for Domestic Goddess and tons of courage and strength for the counselling...I might email you, I think.
Love and prayers xx

If I lived near you, I would go to the grocery store for you. I love grocery shopping. Except I don't buy meat, so you would become vegetarian if I was your personal shopper. On the bright side, I'd prolly cook for you too. :-)

Instead, I'll send some prayers and happy thoughts and good vibes...

No matter how you look at it, the situation is "loaded'...it just is by virtue of what it is.

So. Time will tell and all you can do is walk these steps and see which direction you end up going in.

Ok. I know. It sucks.

Yea for the cleaning goddess. In our area we have something called "pea-pod" it is an online grocery shopping and delivery service. You don't even have to be home when they deliver... Kinda pricy, but very helpful. takes some time to set it up, but then it saves your list and makes it very easy to shop again...like on-line bill paying. Maybe some grocery chain in your area has such a thing?

After Teri brings your groceries to the house, I'll go out for the meat.

I'll be thinking of you today...as the house gets cleaned and you know...for the other thing. Yeah, uh, cliche # 1 :)

LOVE YOU!!!!

Still praying for you, for wisdom and discernment, and now praying for that for your counselor too.

There is nothing (well, maybe a few things, but not many) better than walking into a clean house that you did not have to clean.
Enjoy.

Geesh. I don't know what to say... I hate the domestic side (i.e. cooking and cleaning) but love the human side (kids and all).

Praying that the counseling at least helps brake your fall a little and that if nothing else, you get some emotional cushioning from decisions and crap.

Round here we have this grocery service called "peapod" and they buy and haul your groceries. If I had a second fridge in the garage, they would even put them in it. When life is totally sucking, I use them... for a cost.

Hang in. Hang tight. keep us posted and yup yup still praying...
