I know it's become cliche but...

Being able to smush all of the playdough into one big ball without getting yelled at: $0

Mommy explaining to me that we are eating cake and not actually eating Elmo: $0

A stolen kiss from an appreciative party goer: priceless.

songbird, it is true that he took some time to sort it out in his head. He pointed to the piece of cake on his plate and said, "Momo?" and to the best of my ability I explained that it was cake and not really Elmo.

Finally he seemed to grasp the concept (aided by other toddlers happily eating their pieces of cake) and he cautiously ate his cake.

I do think he will be quite relieved to see Elmo on Sesame Street on Monda.

Happy birthday!!!

Our priceless moments are scheduled for this Sunday from 3:30-5. You're all invited. I will be purchasing the Ariel cake and goody bags, but the entertainment is all me. (biting nails)

Oma to our twin nieces age 3 while peering into oven at Thanksgiving turkey, "Look at that big bird!"

Twins to Oma, "Big Bird? Wahhhhh!"

Also priceless.

Hope you enjoyed this wonderful day.
