Just a place for me to write down some thoughts and maybe get some feedback... maybe not.
Hahaha! Got a major league pitcher in training there at the house?
ANd I am envious of all the house! Our manse is a wee little 1200 sq ft. This is a mansion compared!
I moved the picture for the punchline. Who said it was the manse?
Hee hee...did the dog go after it?
heh - did mom throw that? :)
MZ, it is worse than that... now I can no longer make fun of her for her throws. I have now officially made the worst throw in our family for all of eternity.Me.
guessing? Still envious of a house that size. WE are a little cramped here. ANd I really like brick housese--especially red brick.
Just be greatly relieved that you don't share your home with Dillon the Evil Jack Russell...when any dog toy is put out of his reach, he stands and barks incessantly until either it is restored to him, or (eventually) he forgets. His memory is distressingly long...
Oooh, Kathryn... fortunately Wrigley the Golden Retriever is not so focused.Gord, sorry - I constantly forget that tone doesn't carry over in type. I was laughing. Of course it is the manse. And you are right, we are very lucky. Friends of ours have been put in a manse that was actually condemned soon after they moved out of it (a point that sped up their departure from the church, but that is a post for another day). The church has done a good job keeping this manse up and it is very nice inside and yet - as you know - it is still not your own.
Now _my dog,_ Wonderboy, would've gone to the garage, gotten the ladder out, climbed onto the roof, grabbed the toy, and clmbed back down, put the ladder away, and return to play.More likely: dog standing in yard, staring into space, wondering where in the world the toy went.Favortie Lassie line: What's that, girl? A diabetic hiker has fallen down a well, broken his leg, and needs his insulin?
And this is why our is an indoor dog!Nice house!
Wow! You've got quite an arm!Like Gord, I'm way envious of the manse there. We are bursting at the seams over at "my" place.
was thinking your dog must be a giraffe until I saw (in the comments) it's a lovely gentle golden retriever who will forgive you anything.but you made me laugh and that's worth millions ... thanks.
I love your photo journalism there. Good arm! (I mean... far-reaching)
Now I know why you're so good at baseball!!
LOL! I used to throw the real Zorra's heavier toys up into the pecan tree to knock pecans down...until the day I missed and the smiling squeaky cactus got stuck way up in our NEIGHBOR'S tree....
HAHAHAHA! Too funny!
