A Perk of Small Church Life

I know, I know... don't worry I haven't gone soft but I thought I should appreciate the fact that someday it will not be possible to have my dog and my one and a half year old in the offices of the church while I run off a few quick copies...

I have time to post because Mr. 90th percentile in height is currently fascinated with using the door handle to open and shut the door... and the dog is safely hiding from said door.

Off to lunch!!!

And yes he already knows how to watch his fingers.

Yes, but do you bring the dog to worship? That's one of my perks. Some people look forward to seeing Molly more than seeing me, I think.

Very, very nice... and even better that you can savor the moment...

OH good for him. Now it will be impossible to keep him out of rooms! Hope you don't miss your privacy...

Songbird, that just totally blows my mind... a church that includes a dog in worship is a church for me.

Gord, we live across the parking lot from the church. All privacy lost cannot be blamed on The Boy.

Just give thanks to the Lord the handle was being played with on your side of the door.

My dog goes to work with me every day that I don't have a scheduled appointment or class. It is a very small church and not many folks are in and out during the week. My clerk of session also brings her dog with her any time she drops by to make copies or other brief business. Love it!
