A Different Perspective

Interesting - is it not - how at a certain time and in a certain place something that is considered to be annoying, noisy, dirty and a pest... when not seen or heard from for awhile can transform itself into a welcome sign of where you want to be.

I want to go to the beach, too!

I have to wait until May 20th though.

I hope you are having a great time. Which part of the OBX are you at?

okay I don't think I've ever commented here before, but I just read your bio on revgalblogpals and I think you might be in my original presbytery! What are the chances? I'll give a hint---is there a small church related women's college in your presbytery? that just got a new chaplain who is not me?

Very much so. I use to fall asleep to whipporwhills in the summer and got a little annoyed by them, now when I'm back home I find myself hoping to hear them.

And Girl, you crack me... mine!

Um, I was the first chaplain at said college 93-99. Very small world. Loved that presbytery, even though at the time I was one of only 5 women there. New chaplain is my former catsitter. I wonder which church you're at, since I seem to have supplied the pulpit of every smallish church in the presbytery! Everybody sing, "it's a small world after all."

Songbird, there are actually only 4 Presbyterians in the country. We just move around a lot so as to fool the rest of you.
